We fix the slow parts of running a hospitality business.

Smarter operations for hospitality businesses.

Built from within the industry

We run an independent hotel and build the systems we use every day.

Built in production, in a working hotel — not in a slide deck.

Who we are

FoH Labs is an industry-born consultancy. We help hospitality businesses build the tools that make day-to-day operations run more effectively, not off-the-shelf software, but solutions shaped around how you actually work.

What I build

01 / 04Capability

Front desk that keeps up

Check-in and daily operations rebuilt around the actual sequence of a shift, so staff stop fighting the screen and start reading the room.

  • Arrivals and departures in one view
  • Keyboard-first, no hunting through tabs
  • Works on the hardware you already own
02 / 04Capability

Guest messaging without the lag

One thread per stay, across the channels guests already use, so nothing gets answered twice and nothing gets missed overnight.

  • Single timeline per guest
  • Templates in the languages you serve
  • Handover notes that survive the shift change
03 / 04Capability

Reservations you can trust

Availability, rates and restrictions handled in plain, predictable rules — the kind you can explain to a new hire in five minutes.

  • No hidden overbooking behaviour
  • Clear rate logic, editable in seconds
  • Exports that finance actually accepts
04 / 04Capability

Numbers that arrive on time

Operational reporting that answers the questions owners actually ask, refreshed daily instead of assembled by hand at month end.

  • Occupancy and pace at a glance
  • One source of truth for the team
  • Built to be read on a phone

Where we help

  • A walkthrough of a normal day on property to find where minutes disappear — duplicate entry, screens nobody trusts, steps that exist only because the software demands them.

  • Purpose-built replacements for the parts of the stack that slow the team down, introduced one at a time so the property keeps running throughout.

  • Small, sharp tools for the tasks your current system never covered, built to fit the way your team already works.

  • Making existing systems talk to each other so data stops being retyped between screens.

  • Booking, pre-arrival and on-property interactions that feel calm and immediate rather than dated.

  • Interfaces plain enough that a new hire is productive on their first shift, with no manual to memorise.

How I think about hotel technology

I believe in software that disappears into the work, staff who trust the screen in front of them, decisions made from numbers that arrived this morning, and tools shaped by people who have actually worked a shift.

I have no time for systems that need a manual, dashboards nobody opens, software that charges more the busier you get, and processes kept alive only because the tool cannot do it any other way.

Let's make it better

Tell me what's slow.

A short description of the friction is enough to start. I'll reply with where I think the time is going and what I'd change first.
